Personal Coach
WHAT: To achieve and maintain a minimum 50% closing ratio of sales appointments
WHO/WHERE: Myself and my family, who has offered to hold me accountable.
WHEN: Three months from now, I will be consistently at 50% or better.
WHY: To increase my income. To provide for my family, because they deserve it.
HOW: By focusing and preparing for each appointment as if it’s my only appointment. By showing each client that I am the industry expert they have been looking for.
ACTION: By doing all up front research I can, reading all information regarding my client and clearly identifying their needs ahead of time. I will prepare a list of their needs and the questions I will ask that can confirm their needs or guide me in the correct direction. I will start a file on each potential client in which I will keep all information, no matter how small it is. Every time I have contact with a potential client I will write down the conversation and store it in the file. I will attend weekly trainings from different sources so I have a well-rounded knowledge to provide my potential client. I will subscribe to monthly industry journals from which I will copy and hand out any article that I believe will benefit my clients. I will become certified in a specialization of my industry so that I am able to offer “expert” status to my clients. I will prepare a checklist of my standard appointment preparation steps, which I will give to my family for them to “quiz” me on nightly on regarding my next days’ appointments. I will gather written testimonials from satisfied clients that I can provide to my potential clients.
MEASURE: I will keep a daily tracking and accounting of my appointments, including the client name, date of appointment, outcome of appointment, from which I will calculate my closing ratio daily. I will give this tracking sheet to my family so they can continue to hold me accountable.
